Staying Safe

At SGC Coventry Ltd the health and safety of our employees, clients and the environment is paramount. Which is why we go to great lengths to ensure all of our building sites are as safe as we can possibly make them.

At every site we have a qualified team that includes practicing first aiders and fire marshals to ensure all the necessary processes and procedures are in place and that any unforeseen issues can be managed effectively.

All of our staff and subcontractors follow Risk Assessment Method Statements for each site. We also work with the Health and Safety Executive and local Building Control to meet the relevant industry regulations.

The PPE

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory on all SGC Coventry Ltd building sites. Building site health and safety is something we take extremely seriously.

This is why we insist that the PPE we provide to our personnel is worn on-site at all times, in accordance with the specific risk assessments for each site.

As well as steel toe-capped boots, we expect all of our employees and subcontractors to wear a hard hat and high-visibility vest.
Hard Hat
On most construction sites the risks of head injury are such that the law requires head protection to be worn. This is why all of our employees and subcontractors are provided with and wear hard hats on-site.
High Visibility Vest
It is important for our team to be highly visible to each other and our customers. All of our team members are provided with a high visibility vest that they wear at all times on site, as part of site regulations.
